1) Impeachment #2: The January 6 terrorism looks even more terrifying as more details are reported. Call all three of our Members of Congress to let them know that President Trump needs to be impeached for his role in encouraging the violence and refusing to allow National Guard support. 2) IGSV January 2021 Meeting: Our next meeting will be January 23, 3-4:30 pm, via Zoom. Please attend to help us plan for what the focus and structure of IGSV will be moving forward! After this week’s events, it’s clear that our mission is not over.

3) Support Democracy: One of the most important things Democrats can do early in their time controlling the House, Senate, and Presidency, is to strengthen our democracy. In 2019, the House passed HR 1, the For the People Act. Call our Members of Congress to ask for their support of the For the People Act, as well as DC Statehood and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
