Week of December 19, 2019

1) IGSV January Meeting: Our next meeting will be January 18, 2020, 2-4 pm, at the main county library in Flemington on Route 12. We will be discussing NJ politics, focusing on the underlying issues that led to the Jeff Van Drew mess in NJ-2. Please save the date! An official Facebook event is coming soon, once there’s a full description.

2) IGSV January Run/Walk: Also on January 18, we will have our next walk/run meetings (on the third Saturday of each month) at the Columbia Trail in High Bridge. In 2020, we’ll start these a little later, at 9 am, to allow for more people to attend. Please RSVP by email to indivisiblegsv@gmail.com.

3) Malinowski January Town Hall: Congressman Malinowski’s next town hall will be January 25, 1:30-3 pm, at Millburn High School. Vocal opposition has started to show up at these events. While Congressman Malinowski can hold his own, we need to ensure that he knows he has support for upholding truth and equality, especially in this time of impeachment. 4) Indivisible, The Book: At our December meeting, Carol Johnson suggested that we have a gathering in January to talk about the recently released Indivisible book, “We are Indivisible,” https://book.indivisible.org. Please buy the book to support Indivisible’s work, and to participate in the upcoming discussion, TBD. For those who love audiobooks, it is available through audible.com.
